Terms of Service — Nemumori

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the mobile application “Nemumori” (the “App”) provided by little hands (“we”, “us”). By using the App you agree to these Terms.

1. The service

Nemumori helps you fall asleep with ambient sounds, music, narrated stories, and microphone-based sleep tracking. Everything you create or record is stored on your device. See the Privacy Policy for details.

2. Not medical advice

The App's sleep tracking, scores and snore detection are estimates based on the device microphone and are not medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. If you suspect a sleep disorder such as sleep apnea, consult a medical professional.

3. Safe use

Choose playback volume, device placement and charging setup with the safety of yourself and anyone sharing the room (including infants) in mind. The App, including its baby-soothing sounds, is intended to be operated by adults such as parents.

4. Subscriptions & payment

Continued use of the App requires a paid subscription after a free trial. All payments are processed by Google Play; we never receive your payment details.

• Where a free trial is offered, the subscription fee is charged automatically when the trial ends unless you cancel before then.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in Google Play → Subscriptions. After cancelling you keep access until the end of the current period.
• Refunds are handled according to Google Play's refund policy.

5. Prohibited conduct

You agree not to reverse-engineer the App, extract or redistribute its bundled audio, artwork or narrations, interfere with its operation, use it in violation of applicable law, or otherwise misuse it.

6. Intellectual property

All rights in the App (including its design, graphics, audio, narrations and software) belong to us or the respective rights holders and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App.

7. Disclaimer & limitation of liability

The App is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. Sleep tracking may be interrupted or incomplete depending on device performance, placement and OS behavior. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the App. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

8. Changes

We may change the App or these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted at this URL with an updated “last updated” date. Continued use of the App after a change constitutes acceptance.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tokyo District Court in the first instance.
